Heat Load Modelling
A full set of MCS compliant heat loss calculations were done to EN12831 standards. This allowed the selection of the heat pumps for Gigha with more confidence.
ASHP Sizing
We provided detailed specifications for Air Source Heat Pumps to provide space heating and hot water.
We selected equipment based on reliability. Due to the remote nature of the island, we also incorporated a possible independent backup solution for 100% reliable backup.
Other checks were completed, such as, an electrical load rating of the heat pumps and noise level to mitigate futile problems post contract.
