Parklea Branching Out is a community initiative aimed at promoting sustainable living and environmental stewardship. The Parklea Community Building, supported and funded by the Scottish Government, Inverclyde Council, HSCP, and volunteers, showcases practical sustainable technology to the local community and visitors. Luths also assisted Inch Architecture with energy modelling, options appraisal, and a feasibility report for the project.
The GSHPs use renewable energy from the ground, making them a highly sustainable heating and cooling option, aligning with the project’s environmental focus. The minimal impact on the surrounding environment supports maintaining green spaces while providing an opportunity to demonstrate sustainable technology.
