Luths Services Sponsors the RIAS Sustainability Award
At Luths Services, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. That’s why we’re thrilled to announce that we are the first-ever RIAS Sustainability Awards Sponsorship, a brand-new category introduced for the 2025 RIAS Awards.
This exciting addition celebrates architectural projects that are pushing the boundaries of sustainable design and making a meaningful impact on carbon consumption. Whether through innovative material use, cutting-edge building techniques, or exceeding sustainability standards, these awards highlight projects that are shaping the future of the built environment.
A New Focus on Sustainability
The RIAS Special Category Award for Sustainability is open to both new builds and retrofits, with a specific focus on design innovation and measurable impact on carbon reduction. The judges will consider:
- Innovative use or application of materials.
- New methods of construction and building techniques.
- Projects that go beyond standard sustainability requirements.
- Post-occupancy evaluation of building performance, particularly energy use and comfort.
This holistic approach ensures the awards celebrate not just design excellence but also tangible environmental benefits, creating a legacy of greener, smarter buildings.
Why We’re Sponsoring
At Luths Services, we empower architects and developers to deliver projects that are sustainable, efficient, and forward-thinking. We have participated in the first RIAS Sustainability Awards Sponsorship because we’re championing the innovative ideas and collaborations. This aligns with our mission to reduce carbon costs and create spaces that benefit both people and the planet.
Encouraging Innovation in Architecture
This new award category provides a platform to showcase projects. Therefore they are examples that challenge norms, embrace new technologies, and set higher standards for sustainability in the built environment. It reflects our belief that sustainable design is not just a requirement but an opportunity to innovate, inspire, and lead by example.
