Luths Services provided a full range of engineering services for the new build Stranraer Water Sports Centre, a visitor centre designed with facilities for water sports. 

The project adopted a super-insulated ‘Passive House‘ design methodology, ensuring the building is ‘net zero’ ready with the integration of heat pumps and solar PV. 

Luths carried out a sustainability assessment, including embodied carbon calculations, SBEM calculations, Passivhaus design, and full M&E design, including the installation of a Ground Source Heat Pump (GSHP) system.
